Biography
Shannon Warne was raised in Maple Grove, MN. Through the support and encouragement of her family, she has grown up doing what she loves, performing on stage!
Shannon began singing publicly at the age of five and made her first theatre appearance in My Fair Lady at the local high school when she was just seven years old. Growing up, she performed in multiple productions a year in both community and academic theatre. Shannon has had years of classical and music theatre vocal training. She began studying voice at the age of 16, competing and winning honors in both regional and state-wide competitions. Due to the guidance of her many mentors, she was encouraged to grow in versatility and professionalism at a very young age.
Shannon graduated with a B.A. in Performing Arts from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. After graduating, she moved to Minneapolis, MN to begin her career. While there she performed with many renowned theaters such as: the Guthrie Theatre, the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Park Square Theatre, Hey City Theatre, Theater Latte Da,, and more.
After a brief, but successful, run in the Twin Cities Shannon moved to Los Angeles, CA. Since her arrival, she has kept very busy with the LA theatre scene appearing at/with: the Ahmanson Theatre, Reprise, Musical Theatre West, Cabrillo Music Theatre, Sacramento Music Circus, McCoy-Rigby Entertainment, the Hudson Theater, the Getty Villa, and many more.
Shannon enjoys traveling between New York and Los Angeles, meeting and working with so many incredible and talented people. Shannon is a member of Actor's Equity, Screen Actors' Guild, and the Los Angeles Musical Theatre Guild.
